Event Overview
Are you worried about getting the "perfect" Mothers Day card? Well, look no further!
In this class you will design and print your own Mothers Day card using vintage movable type and decorative ornaments! You will get to print five copies of your design (save them for future Mothers Days, or help out a friend).
Previous knowledge of letterpress printing is not needed, but it wouldn't hurt either. Try to come with a general idea of what you are looking to print.
Cards and ink will be provided for you. Drinks are up to you.

Liz Isakson-Dado is an interdisciplinary artist and owns Tandem Felix Letterpress with her husband, Jamiel. She has a BFA in Printmaking and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Art, and loves teaching! Originally from Detroit, Liz has embraced the Chicago art & music community, and looks forward to sharing her love of letterpress though classes, workshops & private lessons!
