GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY!
Print your own poster and learn the art of letterpress printing!
In this class, you will learn the basics of typesetting and composing with vintage wood type, then pull your own prints on our sign press!
You will choose one quote to print onto five mini-posters (8.5 x 11), then trade with other group members and take home a small portfolio of their designs.
This is a great class if you have been interested in trying letterpress printing but have little to no experience.

Liz Isakson-Dado is an interdisciplinary artist and owns Tandem Felix Letterpress with her husband, Jamiel. She has a BFA in Printmaking and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Art, and loves teaching! Originally from Detroit, Liz has embraced the Chicago art & music community, and looks forward to sharing her love of letterpress though classes, workshops & private lessons!
