Event Overview

In honor of Ukraine's national flower, Chicago Mosaics is offering a 2 afternoon workshop to create a stunning Sunflower mosaic. 

All materials are included for this project..

Plexiglass panel, flower template based on a Georgia O'Keefe painting, stained glass, glue and grout.  I am an experienced mosaic artist and will guide you through the process to create a luminous  Create your own flowers in art glass mosaic using Georgia O'Keefe gorgeous flower paintings as a template. You will place glass pieces to mosaic your own rendition of her masterful work. I have all tools, adhesives and a wide variety of luminous art glass to complete a mosaic on transparent plexiglass that will glow in a window . My studio is comfortable, interesting, friendly and I play good music while your working. 

This will be a 2-session class as mosaics take time and concentration to complete...it's almost like a meditation. You will learn a new skill and create a thing of beauty with your own hands.

All are welcome, ladies and gentlemen, couples, experienced or beginner. Wear comfortable clothes, bring refreshments and prepare to have fun and create! I will help you through the process and guarantee a satisfying result.
