Event Overview

Hello friends, we're back and excited to have YOU join our Paint and Pot class! Canary will guide your painting experience as well as the planting procedure. Students are lead from the process of choosing a vessel to paint and decorate as well as fit the personality of their plant of choice. Not only is it a creative release, but you also come home with a beautiful plant to add health and harmony to your space.

This event is 21+, feel welcome to BYOB!

From start to finish we will show you how to decorate your pot; from clean lines to the abstract technique we help you create something one of a kind while brainstorming ideas. Once the painting is finished and dry, we can begin the planting process.

Each plant we offer has different requirements, some won’t need soil, and some demand less watering. Choose from a variety of succulents, cacti, orchids, and much more! All care tips and instructions will be given. Come and try something different while enjoying your favorite beverage and creative time with your friends!

Our event space is continuously sanitized and we have sanitizer available. MASKS ARE REQUIRED, and we acknowledge social distancing. We look forward to seeing you here!

She enjoys creating art in many different media, watercolor painting, and sculpting are two of her favorites.

Friendly and creative, she has been enjoying her artistic expression lately by teaching B.Y.OB. painting/art classes for groups at L&A Healing Studio.

This was a great class! We got to pick our pot and our plant, paint the pot and then the instructor helped us get our plant into the pot. It’s a charming little studio - I picked up a pair of earrings as well!

Fun opportunity to unwind and express your creativity in a beautiful, plant and flower filled setting that smells wonderful. It's BYOB, but they offer amazing coffee and tea as well, to really make you feel at home. Nicole Lamb, the professional artist who led the painting portion of the workshop, provided some instruction along with inspiration before letting us loose to paint our pots. She hovered nearby to provide assistance to anyone who needed it, and was very patient and kind in responding to all my requests for help. Leo, one of the owners of L&A Healing Studio, shared incredible knowledge of plants and how to care for them as he helped us pot our selections. Loved this experience and will definitely return for more!

This class was so fun! I came here with 2 friends to celebrate their birthdays, and the experience was the perfect gift! We had so much fun painting our pots and planting the beautiful plants that we picked out. The teacher was great and so encouraging! The teacher was also so knowledgeable about the plants, and we learned a lot. I would 100% recommend this dabble class!

Really enjoyed this class. Great assortment of paints, pots, and plants. The instructor was extremely helpful with brainstorming ideas for artistic design of the pottery and explaining how to take care of the plant. My pot ended up looking really beautiful and is a great addition to my office.

This was a fun way to spend the afternoon. I enjoyed sipping champagne as I got creative in their studio. My potted plant is now a feature on a window sill and it was a fun way to celebrate a birthday with a close friend.

I loved every minute of this class. I loved the pots they gave us to use that I was in huge debate on over using elephant, bull or llama. They supply you with the paints and give you enough time to finish. After picking your plant was hard just because the options they give are amazing that I wanted to stuff them all in my one planter. They also show you and give you the material needed depending on which plant you chose. I went with two friends and they also loved this class. The teachers were amazing and since it was in a shop there was a little shopping done afterwards. All in all two thumbs up and the price for this class is very reasonable for everything that is provided to you.

Such a great class - took it on a whim with two girlfriends and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The teacher and owner of the space were both so friendly and welcoming, the class itself was a ton of fun (and not too hard for those less artistically inclined), and who doesn't enjoy BYOB? Plus the space is an eclectic shop that you can walk around and peruse (no pressure to buy anything). And maybe most important: I didn't feel nickle-and-dimed with the class. A lot of the other craft classes have had hidden fees or unexpected add-ons but not this one ... and I didn't feel like you had to settle with the 'basic' supplies to avoid the costs. Definitely recommended!

This is an enjoyable, easy class. I wish there had been more options for the vessels to choose from and direction on painting techniques, but still had a nice time taking this class with friends! My creation wasn't totally dried by the time we left so some of the paint came off on the way home. Aprons would be helpful next time too as mentioned in the description. The planting aspect was a fun final touch.
