Event Overview
Everyone loves a Kodak moment. The right setting and the right subject makes for the perfect candid snapshot; one you can hang proudly on the refrigerator door for years to come. Kodak moments are priceless, yes, but they’re also elusive … to capture them you must be prepared. Always prepared. And that preparedness starts with having a great camera (no, your iPhone doesn’t count) and more importantly – knowing how to properly use it.
In Part 1 of this series of photography classes, Dabblers will learn the bare bones basics of shooting digital photography. The 101 class will focus primarily on three functions: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO / film speed. After brief instruction from the teacher, students will be able to wander outside to get some fresh air, inspiration and practice. Dabblers can expect to walk away with the necessary knowledge to ditch their camera’s “auto” settings, and will have all the prerequisites needed to advance to Photography 201, which will directly follow this class.
Printing and framing is optional, but is not required or included in the cost of the class.
