Event Overview

Lights! Camera! Action! This class is the stuff that Hollywood is made of.

During the second half of a photography extravaganza (which begins with the Photography 102 class), after Dabblers have moved from the beginner’s understanding of flash photography and indoor lighting, students will complete this duo of classes by focusing on advanced studio photography. With instructor’s help students will gain hands on experience with professional studio equipment and learn the ropes of studio lighting techniques. Other great information will be provided as well, including:
-How to pose your models
-Installing a backdrop and lighting
-Photo touch up and editing techniques
-Creating model release forms and contracts

Photography 202 is great for new photographers who have previously taken Photography 102, or photographers with some previous experience who are interested in making the jump from photography as a hobby to freelance opportunities.

Kris Andrae

Kris Andrae has been pursuing his passion for photography for the past 8 years. He has received his Certification of Photography from the Illinois Institute of Art, as well as acquiring a certification for Digital Photography through the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg, and a B.S. degree in Marketing. Knowledgeable about both the history and future of photography, as well as being a master behind the lens, Kris is eager to share his years of experience with Dabblers to help them capture their best shots.
