Event Overview
Like great music requires putting notes in all the right places, so, too, does great photography sometimes require composition. To capture that killer shot, it is imperative that the camera man (or woman!) behind the lens has a good understanding of angles, perspectives, contrast, and colors. That’s where Photography 201 comes in.
Students will start with a overview of the basics of using your digital camera in manual to the basics of composing a great image. The focus of this class will be on subject matter, composition of the shot, and creating tension through contrast. After a fun day of shooting outside, Dabblers will walk away with working knowledge about how to use DLSR cameras to their full potential to make pictures so pretty that virtually no Photoshop is needed!
