Do you want to learn about the health and calming benefits of chocolate? Need an allergen friendly (vegan, gluten free, and soy free) mindful indulgence for your office holiday party? Want to share a locally sourced, nutritious and delicious meal together in a dynamic art space dedicated to cultivating and promoting the diverse contributions of women in the arts?
Well, join us at Woman Made Gallery before the close of exhibitions “THE POWER AND POLITICS OF ANGER” and contemporary jewelry exhibition “OVERLAP”. All dabblers are welcome from meat eaters, pescetarians, vegetarians, vegans, gluten sensitive and tree nut free students. Each dietary need will be accommodated as the art of truffle making is demystified in a fun, engaging and mindful manner with this unique and artful tutorial!
While creating classic hand-rolled truffles, discover the nutritional value & holistic properties of each ingredient. Learn the essentials of wine and chocolate pairing, temper organic vegan chocolate, infuse holistic and locally sourced organic ingredients, and garnishes to completion with founder Nicole's guidance. We will make two flavors of organic vegan confections. Afterwards, we will all enjoy a locally sourced the vegetarian friendly dinner together and tour current exhibitions.

Nicole Melanie Davis is a Baltimore native, sculptor, installation and culinary artist. After undergrad studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Sculpture and Visual & Critical Studies and graduate school studies at the Rhode Island School of Design in Sculpture, she completed a culinary arts internship with the Rebuild Foundation. In 2014 Davis founded and developed Mindful Indulgences, an artisanal collection of conscientiously crafted and curated organic, vegan and gluten free confections.
Mindful Indulgences are created out of an awareness of how food impacts our well-being and quality of life. Each conscientiously curated confection is made with certified organic, vegan, and fair-trade semi-sweet chocolate and infused with certified organic and fair trade super spices. The nutritional value of each truffle is as much about the healthful nutrient rich ingredients used as it is about the ingredients they do not contain. The highest quality chocolate and Ayurvedic spices are selected with the confidence that each confection is healthful and sustainable.
