Practice under the rising full moon for a magical SUP Yoga practice located at Montrose beach. All levels are welcome and paddleboarding experience is not required. Includes all SUP equipment and SUP Yoga class.
How to get there: Class is located at Montrose beach, we’ll meet for class and register at Kayak Chicago’s beach hut – located right in front of the volleyball nets.

This is a one day only event, (only 2 full moons occur this summer!) with only 8 spaces available so register now to guarantee your space.
Class is 1.5hr and include everything you need for the class. Full Moon events often sell-out, Register NOW to attend.
Dress to get wet! Any swimwear is appropriate for SUP Yoga, or yoga clothes w/ synthetic fabrics are great too!
All ages welcome
SUP paddling experience is NOT required. Physical ability to carry your board (weighs about 25lbs) back to the beach hut IS required. Please also be comfortable in the water and able to swim. You will be wearing a PFD and tethered to your board with an ankle leash.
Standup paddleboard, PFD, paddle leash and SUP Yoga class all included. There is a secure place to store all your things as well.
Cancellation Policy
Mary Lou Cerami is a Level 2 certified ACA Paddleboard Instructor. Mary Lou teaches SUP Yoga Skills Courses, Instructor Trainings and SUP Yoga classes throughout Chicago every summer. You paddle out to a private, but safe area on the lake. It is more difficult to do yoga on the boards than I thought, but it's a lot of fun too. The instructor was encouraging and kind. I felt challenged by the work out and I really enjoyed being on the water. It's a great summer activity to do in the city especially when it's hot out.
