BYOB Wine class? Yes indeed!

You bring a wine you love. Or one you've been meaning to try. Or one you pick at random because it has a cool label. For this class, make sure it is Italian! Then,

Join Julia, certified sommelier (and standup comedian), for a guided tasting and crash course in wine!

We will go over how to sniff and taste, how wine is made, interesting new techniques, tips to order at restaurants, and answers to your burning questions! We will talk about traditional Italian varietals, how wines vary in different regions, and how to choose wine to go with food. This course is totally casual and in a fun intimate setting (a gorgeous plant shop!). The goal is for you to learn a lot, discover new wines you love, and never be intimidated by wine tasting again.

The theme of this class is Italian wine, so please be sure to bring an Italian one. Red, white, bubbles - your choice. Please bring a wine that is around $20.00 per bottle (or more if you're feeling it) so we can get a nice variety of flavors.

A day or so before the class, I'll message you and ask what you've selected so I can be sure to bring the right materials.

The cost of the class is additional and covers glassware and teaching materials.

Minimum age 21; proof of age required.
