Planning on hosting a party for the 4th of July? Punch up your Independence Day and create an unforgettable occasion by learning two signature punch recipes with KOVAL Distillery spirits from local cocktail blogger Valerie of Valcohol.co and table setting tips from a West Elm expert. 

Punches are a great way to prep your cocktails ahead of time so you can fully partake in the fun of the actual event. However, punch recipes that are fresh, flavorful and lower in sugar content can be hard to find. Valerie will walk you through everything you need to know to craft and present a gin and a bourbon based punch. You’ll learn how to achieve efficient preparation, festive natural color, thoughtful garnishes and optimal flavor ratios while enjoying a full-size serving of each punch and complimentary sweets by Velvet Desserts. Take-home punch recipes will be provided for future reference. 

With a cocktail in hand, you'll turn your attention to the table setting portion of our class. Do you love the "West Elm look" when it comes to table settings but are unsure of where to start or how to recreate these looks in your own home? The West Elm team of designers is here to help! They will walk you through two tabletop designs: one for a laid-back, casual affair and one for a sophisticated soirée. You'll learn the basics of how to place flatware and glasses and pointers for creating custom centerpieces to make your designs pop!
