Bookbinding: Japanese Stab Stitch Album
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
In these, the days of the digital age, it’s easy to take paper for granted. A 1,000 page epic novel is available at your fingertips via any number of devices. Photo albums are shared with friends not by hanging out around a table with a good glass of wine, but sent around the world with the click of a button. The appreciation for old school methods is alive and well, however, and this bookbinding class is designed to get you back to the roots.
Taught by Adam Bryant, a student of the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, this class is designed to show you how to create your very own hand stitched photo album. You’ll not only leave with your own new creation, but will also have the skills and know-how to make them over and over again!
All book materials will be provided, please bring an Xacto knife and a metal ruler with you!
