Event Overview

Join us on a Sunday morning to kick off the week in creativity! We'll gather and create a macrame tapestry designed by the very talented and magical Sara Brinson. You'll want to hang it on your wall and will smile every time you look at it, in that way that you feel when you think, "I made that. And it's amazing!" We'll spend the time in the focused happy place of creating. Sara's students have great success with this piece! You will too!

In this workshop, you will learn the relaxing, almost meditative techniques of macrame with Miss Brinson What is macrame? It's the art of tying knots to create both beautiful and useful pieces for your love nest. You'll learn the essentials & get to put your new skills to the test completing one macrame wall hanging. My intention is to teach you the basics, and scoot you a little closer towards your inner creativity.

In this class you will receive premium supplies and all of the tools will be provided to curate one macrame wall hanging.

You will learn multiple knots and techniques to add to your crafting tool belt.

Leave with a useful & timeless piece of art as well as the confidence you need to create your own masterpiece at home.

Last day of registration is 24 hours before the class starts.

All materials provided. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to share. We'll also have some fun drinks to share.

I have a mission! I want to bring people together to create, and grow a collective of curious creatives and artists in arms who wish to share their passion for making and hand crafting beautiful things for the pure joy of it.

As far as my creativity philosophy goes, I believe all art comes from the soul, the architect, and the hands and eyes are the builders for those inspired ideas. When we make I get lost in the process and drop all judgements and lock away the inner critic, allowing myself to simply play. Altogether, I am a fabric, quilt, music, bead and jewelry enthusiast, but I want to gather makers of all arts to inspire, support each other, and share. I'd love to build a creative community, and bring together others who have a passion for making things. I also sing, play a few instruments, and write inspiring songs with my darling songstress sisters, the Leaders of the Heart and Starling, in Denver and Boulder. I hope to join forces in creative bliss.
