Event Overview

The world of whisky is one that has lured our palates since the middle part of the last millennium. Though Scotland and Ireland got the ball rolling, the States have evolved many styles of their own: Bourbon, Rye, Tennessee. All are distilled from fermented grain. But how can you tell one style from the next?

This class will open your eyes to the many styles of Whisky that are in our market. Begin to learn the significance between a Highlands Scotch and that from a peatier example Islay. Differentiate a single malt Scotch from a blended Irish sipper. Then hop across the pond to see what inspired European settlers began in the deep south with much-loved styles of Bourbon and Rye as well as Tennessee Straight.

Once you get your nose in there, it will be the kind of experience you won't forget. Discover your palate preferences. You will also walk away with a list of terms you might see as well as highly recommended whiskies to begin building your home bar. Sign up soon! It's sure to fill fast!
