We will discuss programs and plugins you should use to be safe and have a secure website. How to avoid malware, viruses, bad plugins, themes likely to break or simply not work as advertised, and how to not get hacked.
We'll even tell you what to do if your site does get hacked, what to do if you ever get the "white screen of death," how to pick good quality hosts, and make sure your WordPress site stays healthy and productive.

David Somerfleck is a former Journalist, college English professor, educational program director for two colleges, freelance copywriter and editor, probation officer, senior administrator for Baltimore's City's Attorney's Office, and court mediator.
David has been a website developer and internet marketing expert since 1998, and has developed sites for lawyers, accountants, restaurants, bars, non-profit associations, and many other types of business owners.
Some of his past clients include: AOL/Time-Warner, Caribou Coffee, the Denver Dragon Boat Festival, as well as several Colorado-based political campaigns.
David has taught WordPress training bootcamps, internet marketing and SEO strategy sessions, and digital advertising workshops for over six years for business owners and corporations throughout the United States.
Several past speaking engagements have been with Microsoft, the City & County of Denver, the Mile High Business Alliance, Johnson & Wales University, the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado, and the Colorado Bar Association.
