Event Overview

Nearly every entrepreneurial venture revolves around Intellectual Property.

This course will teach you the basics of how to identify and protect the intellectual assets of your venture whether it is a kitchen table start up, a non-profit, a creative enterprise, or new company. It also teaches you how to avoid intellectual property land mines such as accidental trademark and copyright infringement.

The class provides critical information to anyone selling anything through any venue including: what to protect before you launch your KICKSTARTER, navigating IP rights on etsy, and dealing with contractors, designers, manufacturers, and distributors.

The class was well worth the price. Heather did an excellent job and was very informative. I came away from the class with the answer to the questions I had. Looking forward to the follow up classes Heather spoke of. Frank

This was a great summary of IP law basics, presented clearly with good examples to facilitate understanding for a layperson.
