Event Overview

This is a hands-on, typographic exploration where class participants will be creating letterforms for the global project "You Are Beautiful".

You Are Beautiful is a bold and simple statement, established in Chicago in 2002. This powerful message has spread around the world, distributing over a half million stickers, along with generating countless projects to beautify neighborhoods in cities globally. The project is open to all, from established artists & designers, to inspired youth. No matter who is involved, the intention and enthusiasm remains unwavering. Each person in the workshop will have a letter to design with provided materials and inspiration.

During the class, participants will discuss the You Are Beautiful statement and work to push boundaries and break barriers all while learning the art of Typography.
