Event Overview
Join Chicago’s cheese evangelist and the charcuterie legends at Table, Donkey, and Stick for a saucy night of Raclette worship. Come get stuffed on crunchy potato latkes with meats and pickles, all covered in a blanket of hot, bubbling cheese. Erika of the local cheese events company Cheese Sex Death will be scraping Raclette fresh from the wheel and preaching about this iconic Alpine dish. There’s nothing as beautiful as a waterfall of bubbling cheese dripping straight onto fried potatoes.
Our featured cheese of the evening is the brand new Highlander from Jasper Hill Farm in Vermont, one of the most prominent and forward-thinking artisan cheese producers in America. The party celebrates the Chicago début of this sizzling Raclette-style cheese made with raw cow and goat’s milk and bursting with tantalizing notes of smoked meats, macadamia almonds, and cultured butter. The cheese will be served with crispy potato latkes and an assortment of charcuterie, pickles, and more. Tickets include tax and gratuity, and a list of recommended beverages will be available to enjoy alongside your Raclette for an additional purchase.
Guests can expect to learn a little and eat a lot of this iconic cheese dish served on an actual Raclette grill in the Swiss tradition. It’ll be a delicious evening filled with cheesy debauchery.
Let's ‘clette some ‘cuterie and toast to the season of hot, melty cheese! See you there!

The Cheese 101 class was fantastic! Erika shared the background on how each cheese is made, where to buy it, and also how to pair it. Each was unique and was a great experience overall.
