Event Overview
Want to learn how to make a beautiful cheese platter filled with perfect pairings? Then join us for a build-your-own cheese plate workshop with Chicago cheese evangelist Erika Kubick of Cheese Sex Death. Using her perfect cheese plate formula, Erika will guide you through building the dreamiest cheese board, then you’ll get to use your new skills to build your own board step-by-step. From there, Erika will take you on an unforgettable tasting journey where you'll enjoy the three artisan cheeses featured on your plate, each paired with accompaniments created by the team at Bad Hunter. Plus, learn how to create the perfect wine pairings with Bad Hunter's Wine Director, Rebecca Schliff. Learn the do's and don'ts of picking the best drinking companions for your cheeses.
You’ll also get to go home with your very own goodie bag filled with a cheese tasting bible and gear to help you recreate your beautiful board and pairings again and again. Come hungry and thirsty, you’ll be eating a lot of cheese and drinking plenty of wine!

The Cheese 101 class was fantastic! Erika shared the background on how each cheese is made, where to buy it, and also how to pair it. Each was unique and was a great experience overall.
