Event Overview

Grab your best pals and a spare t-shirt, then head over to the Argaman&Defiance workshop for an evening of tie-dye and fun!

In this workshop you will learn three different tie-dye methods. Then put your new skills into action on the item(s) you have brought to dye.

Argaman&Defiance will provide the wine, dye, rubber bands, gloves, and plastic bags to bring your item home safely.

Please bring 1-3 items to tie-dye. Cotton and silk works best, but synthetics and blends are welcome.

Grab your gloves and get messy with us!

Lydia Crespo attended St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley (STLCCFV) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She received the James Nelson Raymond Fellowship from SAIC upon graduation, and used the funds to start her business, Argaman&Defiance.

Argaman&Defiance collection is available in over 30 boutiques throughout the US. A&D has designed for Urban Outfitters, West Elm, Target, and Huckberry. Most
recently, A&D was highlighted in Chicago Magazine’s “Best of Chicago”, the Chicago Tribune “16 Things We Love”, and MarthaStewart.com.

Crespo has created and lead workshops out of her studio for three years.
