Explore the wonders of nature and watercolor painting in this unique class at the Garfield Park Conservatory! In this 2-hour class, we will use the nature that surrounds us as inspiration as we learn to observe, sketch, and paint a subject.
Minimum age
All ages welcome
What's Provided
A basic watercolor kit (You'll get to keep the paints, brush, paper, and your final work!)
What You Can Expect From This Experience
- embark on a nature walk and learn how to sketch using our observation skills.
- practice some basic painting techniques and I will guide the group step-by-step
- explore the conservatory, find a subject and paint it.
- re-group and share our work.
