We are thinking pink. To kick off the summer of rosé, please join City Winery Chicago for an all pink wine tasting party!

Hosted in our wine garden (weather dependent), surrounded by summer, swirl and sip pink. Join us for a pretty in pink glass of rosé! Pink is a statement in wine. As more winemakers delve into the world of rosé, an increasingly diverse array of pink wine styles is beginning to emerge. There is a pink renaissance in the works...find out what all the fuss is about and cease judging a wine by its color! We will diligently sample and taste through French, American, Italian, and perhaps a Spanish rosé to experience the versatility of pink wines and get educated about the shades and tastes of pink around the world. Sparkling, saignée, and purely pink. You are doing your part to fight wine discrimination and explore the mystery of what happens in the 'between’, as the hue fades from red to white. Versatile and glorious with food, explore what pink can do. Sip on rosé in all shades and flavors from light and minerally to almost red, big, and burly. Share the gospel and recruit a few rosé crusaders for conversion. Amazing with food, the patio, good company, or just another glass. Pink is not a dirty word in wine. No more whispered allegations for being super uncool or having poor taste in wine...be the wine savvy trend-setter that is oh so secure in sipping and sharing rosé.

This event is general admission, and folks are encouraged to walk about the room, visiting various Rosé stations for tasting. This event is meant to take you out of the classroom, and enjoy various rosés in a casual environment.

Cheese and charcuterie is provided.
