Summer Drinking: Rosé Wine 101
10 Have Dabbled
Food & Drink
The rumors aren't true: "Rosé is for amateurs." "All rosé is sweet." "Rosé is for wimps!" Blah, blah, blah.
The truth is that rosé, like people, come in all shapes and sizes. From oh-so delicate and charming, to boisterous, fruity, and acid-licious. This wine class, all about rosé from around the world, will dispel the myths and set the record straight once and for all: Rosé is pretty badass.
During this two-hour, not-at-all-stuffy, class, you will:
- Learn the basics of how to methodically taste wine (don't worry...it's about fun, not perfection!)
- Discover how rosé wine is made and the grapes they come from
- Taste 5 different rosé wines from around the world.
- Snack on some delicious cheese, fruit, and nuts (message me -- I will accommodate for food allergies/vegetarians/vegans)
Simply bring yourself and paper and pen if you want to jot down some notes. You'll leave with a worksheet that will help you to buy your very own rosé at any grocery store or wine shop.
*The entrance is a blue door -- the space is above Big Jones restaurant in Andersonville.
Pen and notepad, if you like.

Hello! Josh, here. Over the last two years, I've lovingly cultivated my knowledge of wine and discovered how much I love gathering with others to learn about all things wine. My philosophy is that wine is meant to be enjoyed in a laid-back, pretension-free way. So, no matter your level or perceived level of expertise, all are welcome and encouraged to come with an open mind and heart. Cheers!
This class was a blast! We learned a lot about Rose, and wine in general. Josh created a fun (and pretention-free!) environment. All of the wines we tasted were under $20, so that was especially great--we can actually afford to buy them!
