Event Overview

Character is the most important component of fiction writing. Character always drives the plot. It is never the other way around. If you have a strong, well-defined main character with a burning desire to achieve his goal, the plot will practically write itself.

This class teaches you how to create characters that are so memorable that they stay in the readers' minds for the rest of their lives. This is not an unrealistic goal. Who could ever forget Sherlock Holmes or Ebenezer Scrooge after reading the books written about them?

In this class you will learn the importance of a character’s name, the necessity of giving your characters flaws and imperfections, how to create an in-depth character profile and much more. The techniques learned in Creating Believable Characters will elevate your writing to a new level and develop in you the confidence of knowing that you have the ability to create realistic and believable, three dimensional characters at will.
