Stained Glass Ornaments

Note: This is a multi-session event series. By purchasing the event package, you acknowledge that you can attend all event dates included below.In this two-class series you will create your own stained glass ornaments.
Each participant will designs their ornaments, cut glass, copper foil and solder their own stained glass pieces.
These ornaments will last for years to come and will look beautiful as holiday ornaments, bridesmaid gifts, gifts for coworkers or home decor for yourself! Each participant can make up to six ornaments.
All supplies and materials will be provided. This is a two class series and each session is 3 hours. Classes will take place on consecutive Sundays although I am flexible with dates and times
Day One: Finalizing design and cutting glass
Day Two: Copper Foil and Solder
This is a small and intimate class where you will get lots of individual attention. Dates and times are flexible. One make-up date will be offered in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy
Norma D Rios-Sierra received her Bachelor of Art History from Columbia College Chicago in 2009. She has lived in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, San Diego, California and most recently McAllen, Texas. She was first introduced to stained glass art while working as a translator at a stained glass factory in Mexico. Her work consists mostly of stained glass mosaic featuring bold images inspired by iconic Mexican imagery, textiles and embroidery.
