Bring your littles and learn how to make piñatas together!!
Join us for an afternoon of crafting piñatas in the community space at Dill Pickle Food Co-Op on Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square.
We will use upcycled cardboard, glue and tissue paper to create fun and colorful piñatas. We will also learn all about the interesting history of piñatas!
Don't miss out on a fun afternoon of making sustainable art and spending quality time with your family!
All ages welcome
This class is suitable for children 8 years old and up. Any child less than 8 years old will need help from a parent or guardian. Please purchase tickets for all guests.
All supplies are provided. Each participant will be able to create one small piñata.
Cancellation Policy
Norma D Rios-Sierra received her Bachelor of Art History from Columbia College Chicago in 2009. She has lived in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, San Diego, California and most recently McAllen, Texas. She was first introduced to stained glass art while working as a translator at a stained glass factory in Mexico. Her work consists mostly of stained glass mosaic featuring bold images inspired by iconic Mexican imagery, textiles and embroidery.
