Event Overview

I will open up my home studio for open studio time. Bring your project ideas and use my space to make them a reality. You will have access to all of my stained glass, tools and materials. You will have free reign to work on whatever stained glass project you would like. You are also welcome to bring your own materials or supplies. You will be able to create any project using either the copper foil or lead method. I will be available for advice or instruction. Participants should have some experience with stained glass or have completed a previous stained glass course.

Minimum age

All ages welcome

Prerequisites

Some stained glass experience or completed a previous stained glass course either Stained Glass 101 or Stained Glass Flowers and Cacti.

Norma D Rios-Sierra received her Bachelor of Art History from Columbia College Chicago in 2009. She has lived in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, San Diego, California and most recently McAllen, Texas. She was first introduced to stained glass art while working as a translator at a stained glass factory in Mexico. Her work consists mostly of stained glass mosaic featuring bold images inspired by iconic Mexican imagery, textiles and embroidery.
