Event Overview

Ketogenic diets are becoming more mainstream as of late, and there is a good reason for it. A diet that is higher in fat and lower in carbohydrate actually supports the body's ability to burn fat instead of storing it. The reason? Carbohydrates drive the insulin response, and insulin tells the body to store fat instead of burning it. 


With that in mind, healthy, high-fat snacks are good. In this class, we will prepare delicious, high fat but healthy snacks that are easy to do. These are called "fat bombs" in the keto world. 


You will both learn how to cook yummy fat bombs...and taste them as we go. We will also serve wine and have a grand time!

Gregg and Sharon Hoffman are co-owners of Urban Pump Personal Training Studio. They have over 40 years of experience in the fitness industry. Gregg Hoffman has written two books on the subject of health and fitness, and he created the Hystrength (sm) exercise program.

    This was a great class. Gregg and Sharon Hoffman are very insightful and helpful instructors. They were very knowledgeable and kind. The food recipes were delicious as was the wine.
