Have you ever wanted to be able to provide great tasting, fresh, organic produce for yourself and your family? Maybe you believe this to be impossible because you think you have a black thumb or just not enough experience and knowledge. Let's be real though, zone 5 and the rocky mountain region is one of the toughest areas in the United States to successfully garden and produce quality food. This course is intended to help you with that. Covering topics such as soil fertility, composting, watering, pests and planting plus so much more, Agriculture at Altitude is intended to set you up for success for the years to come and provide you with the foundational knowledge you'll need to succeed in your next agricultural adventure. Taught by an urban farmer on a 1acre organic vegetable farm, Paul Fleischer (of the Fleischer Family Farm) will walk you through all you need to know to produce a bounty. The class is BYOB and open discussion style. The more questions the better so come with a few ready. Hope to see ya'll on the farm.
