  Absolutely loved this class as my first Dabble experience. Can’t wait to sign up for the series when it happens on a day I can commit to for a few weeks in a row. I bought my first sewing machine a few weeks after. Would highly recommend the class.

  This class was perfect for a great introduction to sewing - just what I was looking for, as I had no experience with a sewing machine.   I have never used a sewing machine and so was scared I'd fail miserably, but Tish was kind, patient, funny, and engaging, and I learned to use a sewing machine, and even made a needle holder to take home with me (class project)! This was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I did it. Tish was very hands on and helpful, and gave excellent directions and assistance. I'll be signing up for more of her sewing classes, and you should too!

  I've always wanted to learn how to sew and HISS made it so easy! I am shocked that I was able to make the project we made on my very first attempt with a sewing machine. I will be back for more classes, as this is definitely something I want to do more of!

  This was a great class! Tish is a wonderful teacher and gives lots of one on one attention. She provides verbal instructions, visuals and models each step; making it ideal for all types of learners. I suggest if you are starting out with your own machine, take the basics class first, as our machines were already threaded for us upon arrival. I hope to take her sewing series in the future.   I recently took the Introduction to Sewing class with Tish and I have to say it was great! I have very little experience with sewing and Tish did a great job of demystifying the whole process and we were sewing within 15 minutes. This class has inspired me to take the next beginner series!   This is a great class for beginners. I learned a lot about each sewing machine, as well as sewing techniques. Tish is a great teacher with a fun, 80's sewing playlist! I would highly recommend this class - far exceeded my expectations and is an incredible price. Looking forward to more classes taught by Tish!

  I had a great time! in less than two hours, Tish helped refresh my very VERY basic knowledge of how the machines work and how to sew seams. I left class with a completed a project. Tish, the teacher, was friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back!

  I have been dabbling in my own for three years after being gifted a machine. I have just winged it and watched videos on YouTube but never really feeling like I know what I am doing. Even clueless I love making cloths and stuff toys from old patterns from the 1950's and 1970's. I decided to dig in and really learn how to sew.
