About This Workshop
In this fun beginner-level workshop, learn how to use tools in Adobe Illustrator to digitize your lettering designs so that you can publish them on a blog, create an engaging social media post, or use them in a print project.
You’ll be given step-by-step instruction on how to hand letter a simple phrase, live trace into a vector shape, and add texture and color, and export a beautiful, unique design ready for publishing on the web.

Prereqs & Preparation
This is an introductory course designed for first time and beginning Illustrator users. No prior experience with Illustrator is required for this class.
What to Bring
All students must be able to bring a laptop to each class (Mac preferred). You will need to have Adobe Illustrator version CS4 or higher. If you have a preferred hand lettering tool, bring to the event.
