About This Class
A strategically targeted resume is your most important weapon when searching for a job. This document is often the first impression that you will make with an employer. On average, employers initially look at resumes for 10–20 seconds, so you've got to knock 'em out with a great document. Students will leave this workshop knowing just how to do that.
Participants will learn how to format and write a solid summary of skills, experience, and accomplishments in a compelling, concise, and professional way.
Over the course of the class, participants will have an opportunity to give and get feedback on their resume from fellow classmates and the instructor. Students will walk away knowing what they need to do to create a knock out document that gets them that much closer to landing an interview - and then the job!
