Event Overview

This is a simple 1-day workshop for any person looking to learn the art of shoemaking. You will make a whole pair of shoes for yourself in ONE DAY!

This beginner level course is designed so easy a caveman could do it. Students will learn how to handcraft their very own pair of shoes in their desired size. You will learn how to size feet, choose from high-quality materials, and use traditional shoemaking techniques to create your very own pair. This workshop has a maximum of 4 students so that each student will have time for individual attention.

All glues used in my studio are NON TOXIC and leathers are ethically sourced. If you would like to use vegan leathers, please indicate so at checkout or via email and I will send you a separate invoice of $50 to cover the cost of materials.

Please reach out with questions using the "Message Teacher" button below. Group discounts are available!

Style: Mule, men's & women's style/sizing available. Pictured is women's style, men's style is rounder similar to a dress shoe.

If you enjoy this course so much that you want to continue your studies in a more advanced way, please reach out to schedule a custom workshop.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I am a custom shoemaker and leather artist with a love for all things handmade.

I have been making and teaching shoemaking for over 4 years now and recently opened a new larger space in Logan Square where I am continuing to run my custom shoe business as well as teach classes ( & host fun crafty events!)

Teaching is something that I care deeply for as I also enjoy learning. I will answer all you questions during class and make sure you absorb as much information as possible. Shoemaking is fun and exciting!
