Event Overview
Upgrade your self care and experience the healing powers of essential oils in this aromatherapy series of Mindfulness in Motion class. In each class an oil will be diffused in the classroom while we take a mindful approach to learning about a new scent and incorporate the benefits of the oil into facilitated meditation, guided movement, and journaling prompts.
Each class is available for drop in. Classes are Tuesdays at 7pm at Tribe Healing Arts.
The Aromatherapy class schedule is:
September 19: Sandalwood
September 26: Vetiver
October 3: Cedarwood
October 10: Bergamot
October 17: Frankincense
What is Mindfulness in Motion class?
Do you have a super secret list of self-care items that never quite make it (or never get checked off) your actual to-do list? Things like:
- Keep a gratitude journal
- Meditate
- Move your body more
- Unplug
If you want all of these things, but are having trouble squeezing it all in - this is the class for you.
This soothing one hour class is one part motivational coaching, one part relaxation and one part meditative dance party. We'll set an intention for the class and alternate between time in stillness, guided movement/dance, and journaling exercises - all focused around that intention.
Come to clear your mind, move your body, and center your soul. You'll leave feeling refreshed & more self-aware - plus you'll gain clarity on how to maintain a sense of mindful ease throughout the week.
What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothing & bring a journal.
