Business & Technology
Hey there crafty Dabbler.
We appreciate you. You, with your knitting and beading skills. You, with your painting and photography skills. You, with your clay making and sewing skills. You make things we only dream of creating, and things we wish we could buy for ourselves. And since we love your work so much, we know others would love to buy it as well. And we suspect that might be okay with you, y'know, if other people wanted to pay you for your skills, too.
That's why we recruited an Etsy shop owner who also generates revenue selling her crafts via wholesale and consignment. Rebecca's work has been sold in retail shops for several years now, and yours can be too after this Dabble class!
The consignment and wholesale process may seem overwhelming to start, but it's a great way to earn additional income and exposure. Learn how to scout out shops that might carry your products and the best methods for approaching them in a professional manner. This class will also help you understand the process of creating linesheets, catalogs, order forms, packaging and price tags for your merchandise (and much more). So you can get to showing off your crafty skills to the masses in no time.

Rebecca George studied Art History & Geology at the University of Michigan. From there, she earned a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from the American Intercontinental University in London, England. Her brand "purpleandlime" is a line of super-fun womenswear, jewelry and accessories based in Chicago. She has been successfully selling her line on Etsy for two years, and in addition, has grown her business substantially through the use of consignment and wholesaling. Those pieces combined provides another revenue stream and venue to get her products seen and purchased, and she'd love to share her knowledge with other crafty small business owners looking for additional outlets!
This class was very informative and helpful. Rebecca was full of useful information and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone thinking of selling their crafts.
