Event Overview

So you have an Etsy account, and some great product to feature on it ... but you're hesitant about what to do next.

This Dabble class is led by an Etsy seller, Rebecca George of Purple and Lime. Bring questions related to tags, titles, listings, photos, sales, shipping, pricing, checkout, and anything else you can think of with regards to your shop. Students should have an already established Etsy seller account prior to signing up for class, and email the page link to the instructor so she can take a look beforehand.

Please note this is an online class and will be held over the phone, Skype, or FaceTime. An appointment will be made with Rebecca after registration.

A Cincinnati native, Rebecca studied Art History & Geology at the University of Michigan. From there, she earned a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from the American Intercontinental University in London, England. Highlights of her career include having several pieces from her graduation collection featured in the international fashion magazine i-D (UK, Feb. 2007) and working on men’s leather pouches for the movie Elizabeth: The Golden Age (which won an Oscar for Best Costume). Her brand "purpleandlime" is a line of super-fun womenswear, jewelry, and accessories based in Chicago. She has been successfully selling her line on Etsy and in shops for four years, and enjoys teaching others about online handmade selling!

This class was EXTREMELY helpful. Rebecca is a great teacher. She knows her subject, yet made it relatable to me, a newbie.

I was so happy with the tips and advice that I am going to do the class critique again in a few months to see if she feels I have improved and maybe tweak my site some more.

My expectations were not high, but hopeful for this class. I had just launched my Etsy shop in November and felt that while I had done a fair job at getting things going, I had a lot to learn. Rebecca has a wealth of knowledge and is honest about how to improve your shop. I would highly suggest taking her class if you are just starting out or even needing tips on how to improve your shop. I hope she ends up doing a Marketing Class at some point.

Rebecca did a bang up job once again! She went through each of our shops one at a time and gave us individual feedback. To have such a seasoned professional help you with every aspect of your shop is priceless. Rebecca was thorough, considerate and full of knowledge. This class was definitely worth taking for anyone in any stage of running their etsy shop.

Rebecca was great! She gave us some great general tips for our shops and also went through each participant's shop and gave us detailed feedback. It was really interesting to also be able to see other people's shops, what was successful for them, and to brainstorm ideas together! Would highly recommend the class for both Etsy beginners and people who have been selling!

This class was great! Learned a lot of great things that I could do to draw more traffic to my Etsy shop, which is exactly why I took the class! I've implemented several of the suggestion and can I already see increased traffic in my shop, which I'm thrilled out.

"It was a small group and thru critiquing other people's sites it was a an incredible help. Even if we were not having that concern with our shop, it helped us avoid that problem.
Good advice and tips were given by the instructor and there was time for discussing issues. "
