Event Overview
Join us for a shibori workshop with our friends at Lilla Barn Clothing.
Join us to learn the basics of shibori dyeing techniques, enjoy a mimosa (or two), and dye your own set of tea towels. Tea towels are very functional in the kitchen and around the house - these also make great burp cloths, infant swaddles, and hair towels! We'll be using non-toxic fiber reactive dyes and all materials are included.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Leigh is an interior designer turned entrepreneur, workshop teacher, and venue curator. With her design background, Leigh felt that it was imperative to have a brick and mortar space specifically designed for creative and craft events, so she created exactly that in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. As a longtime craft supply enthusiast and savvy shopper, Leigh is always on the hunt for salvaged materials and new project ideas.
Our mission at Indigo & Violet Studio is to empower both novice and experienced crafters to feel confident exploring their creativity and artistic expression in a relaxed studio environment. We work in a variety of mediums - paint, paper, yarn, flowers, and wood to name a few. No matter the project, our goal is for all guests to leave with a new sense of pride along with their beautifully hand-crafted piece.
