Leigh is an interior designer turned entrepreneur, workshop teacher, and venue curator. With her design background, Leigh felt that it was imperative to have a brick and mortar space specifically designed for creative and craft events, so she created exactly that in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. As a longtime craft supply enthusiast and savvy shopper, Leigh is always on the hunt for salvaged materials and new project ideas.
Our mission at Indigo & Violet Studio is to empower both novice and experienced crafters to feel confident exploring their creativity and artistic expression in a relaxed studio environment. We work in a variety of mediums - paint, paper, yarn, flowers, and wood to name a few. No matter the project, our goal is for all guests to leave with a new sense of pride along with their beautifully hand-crafted piece.

I had a great time with this class. I really appreciated the history of tea and tea reading. I also really enjoyed printing on the napkins. The class was really small and intimate which made it a lot more fun. Thanks so much!
