MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Leigh is an interior designer turned entrepreneur, workshop teacher, and venue curator. With her design background, Leigh felt that it was imperative to have a brick and mortar space specifically designed for creative and craft events, so she created exactly that in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. As a longtime craft supply enthusiast and savvy shopper, Leigh is always on the hunt for salvaged materials and new project ideas.

Our mission at Indigo & Violet Studio is to empower both novice and experienced crafters to feel confident exploring their creativity and artistic expression in a relaxed studio environment. We work in a variety of mediums - paint, paper, yarn, flowers, and wood to name a few. No matter the project, our goal is for all guests to leave with a new sense of pride along with their beautifully hand-crafted piece.

The BYOB Terrarium Workshop class was excellent! This class provides you with the opportunity to experiment with your creativity, and no prior skills/experience is required!!! The class is designed in order for you, the student, to truly express yourself creatively and experience building a terrarium from scratch. The class is very enjoyable. This is a must take class!
