Indigo & Violet Studio is a Chicago-based venue for craft workshops and art parties. We focus on modern projects taught in a relaxed studio environment. Our mission is to provide a creative outlet to adults in a variety of mediums - including watercolor, macrame, floral, and plant workshops. All workshops in our studio are BYOB - bring your favorite beverage and snack to enjoy while we craft!

Our north Lakeview studio is conveniently located just steps from Southport and a creative space to host your next birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, or team-building activity. Join us to celebrate, learn a new skill, and leave with a handmade memento of the celebration - or gift your handmade craft to the guest of honor!

We also love to collaborate with local artists and makers to host a workshop as a way to connect and teach the community about their craft. For this reason, our workshop calendar is always changing and our email newsletter is the best place to hear about new workshops as they’re coming up! Founded by Leigh Hardy in 2017, Indigo & Violet Studio is a unique workshop venue. Leigh has a background in Interior Design and brought those skills to the studio to create a beautiful and functional space! At Indigo & Violet Studio we're passionate about small businesses, local creators, circular economies, sustainability, and giving back to causes in our Chicago community.
