Learn about some of the party classics that sustained the traditional 50's family, then figure out how to update and modernize them to satisfy your healthy lifestyle and on-trend party. We'll watch as chef Kasey Passen chops, cooks, bakes and serves up these tried and true holiday dishes, and even shares ideas on how to serve, decorate and dress for your party for authentic vintage style!
All students will leave with bellies full of sampled dishes and a list of recipes to take home to replicate.

Chef Kasey Passen graduated from the University of Michigan and went on to attend Kendal College Culinary Arts program. After working one year at the Boulettes Larder Restaurant in San Francisco, Kasey was hand-picked to develop a culinary program for Cellar360, a San Francisco wine bar and events venue. In nearly three years at Cellar360, Kasey planned daily menus, catered over 200 private events, and launched an in-house culinary education program that offered weekly cooking classes to the public. Her work was featured on “View From the Bay”, a San Francisco television program. She now lives in Chicago and offers cooking classes, catering and private chef services through her company, Culinary Gatherings.
