The guidelines you will learn in this class will not only make you look and feel good about yourself, but will be easy to follow and carry through as you work on improving your personal style. Everyone, men and women, will benefit from taking this class.

2. Establishing a 10 piece cluster of clothing items.
3. Discovering your signature style.

Interactive partner exercises will assist you in revealing your true fashion-self. Fashion videos and PowerPoint will showcase the before and after, good and not-so-good, fashion looks and styles.

Prerequisites

Wear an outfit you feel exudes your personality!
Bring a pen and pencil to take notes.

Image Consultant, Nancy Plummer, brings over twenty years experience in the retailing industry to each client. Her consulting firm, Fine Threads, Inc., has assisted individuals express their personality through their clothing by offering one-on-one fashion analysis, closet consultations, and personal shopping. Additionally, Fine Threads, Inc. supports schools, corporations, and non-profit organizations by offering corporate workshops and seminars ranging from Dressing for Business to Wardrobe Planning.

The high level of personal service makes Fine Threads unique. Clients are scheduled by appointment only and the staff provides only the best to make your project unforgettable. Whether the client is a corporation looking for a fashion identity or an individual looking for fashion advice, Fine Threads is here to assist you in achieving your project goals.

Nancy’s wide and varied retail career positions began after her graduation from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Retailing. Her previous positions have included Buyer, Store Manager, Manufacturers Rep, Account Executive, and Program Chair for the Fashion Design Department at The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) in Chicago, IL. Currently, Nancy is an Adjunct Faculty member at The Illinois Institute of Art Chicago in the Fashion Design Department. Nancy also teaches a series of Image Consulting classes in the Continuum Department at Loyola University.

Nancy completed her Masters’ degree in Training and Development in December 2006 from Roosevelt University. Nancy’s first book Your Personal Style was released in February 2009 from Fairchild Publications.
