This is a fun workshop focusing on how to utilize your clothing to build and maintain a great wardrobe suitable for your personality, lifestyle, and budget. Workshop topics include components of your image, basic styles for women and men, dressing successfully, and how to evolutionize your look.

Creating a modular wardrobe is the final outcome of successful wardrobe planning. Having the ability to combine clothing pieces in ways that will stretch your outfits. Questionnaire, charts, photographs, and diagrams will assist in the discovery.

Participants will walk away with a better sense of their individual style and how to portray their fashion personalities to the world!

Image Consultant and Fashion Stylist Nancy Plummer, brings over twenty years experience in the retailing industry to each client. Her consulting firm, Fine Threads, Inc., has assisted individuals express their personality through their clothing by offering one-on-one fashion analysis, closet consultations, and personal shopping. Additionally, Fine Threads, Inc. supports schools, corporations, and non-profit organizations by offering corporate workshops and seminars ranging from Dressing for Business to Wardrobe Planning. Currently, Nancy is an Adjunct Faculty member at The Illinois Institute of Art Chicago in the Fashion Design Department. Nancy also teaches a series of Image Consulting classes in the Continuum Department at Loyola University. Nancy completed her Masters’ degree in Training and Development in December 2006 from Roosevelt University. Nancy’s first book Your Personal Style was released in February 2009 from Fairchild Publications.

I enrolled in this class to prepare myself to enter a career of image consulting. I love that our instructor, Nancy was very detailed about the necessary items women and men should have in their wardrobe. Even a savvy dresser can learn a few tricks in looking your best by taking this class.

This was a very fun, informative class. I learned a lot about what the core basics should be of my wardrobe. I also learned about making a "cluster" of clothes for different purposes. Nancy made it fun and interesting. I highly recommend this class.

I loved this class! Nancy was kind enough to run the class even though I was the only student (she asked first if I still wanted to do it). It ended up being a fun and insightful 90 minutes. She's clearly a pro (teaches fashion at universities and owns her own business) but it was like spending time getting advice from a friend. Would definitely take a class of hers again, and have already started reassessing my wardrobe based on her tips.
