Gargoyles & Knights & Demons & Pretty Ladies - just some of the creatures we'll see on our fun and weird tour. See, every building is designed to convey a message, like books, or paintings or operas convey information, buildings are doing the same thing. Turns out, it's a language we've forgotten. We still know it, we're just out of practice. Lucky for us, we have the greatest classroom in the world to learn our craft! Downtown Chicago, the "Loop," famous the world over for its skyscrapers and historic masterpieces.

On this tour, we're talking ornament - never necessary, never arbitrary and they symbolism attached. Anytime an architect puts something on a building, it's because they're trying to communicate with us, evoke emotion. We'll learn to read our best historic masterpieces and decipher their meaning, these beauties are chock full of information, it's just, most of the time we never stop to look. We'll learn about modern buildings too, where did all the ornament go exactly? And why? Once you take this tour, you'll won't be able to stop looking up & I promise, you'll never look at a building the same way again.
