Event Overview

Artist Katie Netti walks you through the technical process of traditional bookbinding using distinctive papers, ribbons, and mementos. This class is a one of a kind experience at Logan Square Book Store "City Lit" The class is BYOB and perfect timing for an after brunch activity!

A blank page brims with potential, ready to host a flowery poem, elaborate sketch, or game of hangman. That potential multiplies as artist and instructor Katie Netti helps you hand-make your own personalized journal full of unmarked pages. While you work with exotic papers, ribbons, and other materials, you'll learn the technical process of traditional bookbinding, before heading home with a hardcover journal or sketchbook that you assembled yourself.
