Pysanka Painting! Glaze a set of Ukrainian Easter egg salt and pepper shakers

A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. In this class we will be using ceramic eggs and shiny glazes. Better yet, the eggs are also salt and pepper shakers!

The designs are usually quite ornate, you can draw directly onto the ceramic egg or trace a pattern, no artistic experience required. A wide variety of glaze colors and application methods will be available. All glazes are food safe.

After being fired, your eggs will be ready for your Easter dinner table!
