Event Overview

If you're like me, anything miniature is adorable! I've created these tiny terrariums to hold a mini environment inside!

This class will provide a plethora of materials for you to create your own small world inside a glass globe or bottle. Sculpey (oven hardening clay) will be used to hand make any creatures you would like to add. They are designed to be bottle stoppers, but you can use them for hanging or decoration as well. All materials are artificial or dried so the glass can be sealed for protection. The finished product is around 3 inches tall, with the cork included.

This project involves tiny pieces, if you wear glasses, I would bring them:)

This was a fun experience. A various of assortment of materials and doo-dads were provided to choose from when deciding what we wanted to include in our terrarium. We were actually able to make 2 terrariums each, when I originally thought we would only be making one. So that was a plus. The instructor was very nice and friendly. She was able to quickly demonstrate how to create small clay characters for our terrariums. It seems like she had other classes that we might check out in the future! Would recommend.

This was my first time making a terrarium and it was a great time! Katie, the instructor was super helpful and really encouraged us to be creative. She provided more than enough materials for us to work with. Would definitely recommend this class for those looking to have a nice and relaxing time.

So much fun and easier than I thought it would be. Really allowed my creative juices to flow. The Tiny Terrariums made that evening contain teeny, tiny clay components that the instructor demonstrated. With her expert tutelage, my terrariums were a smashing success.

So fun and relaxing to make my own teeny tiny terrarium wine corks! The instructor had lots of fun supplies for things to use, and also helped me to create a small fish made out of sculpee. I also appreciated the little box to make sure the wine cork stayed upright while it was drying.

Katie is an extremely personable teacher. The class environment was warm and the resulting tiny terrariums were all unique. I would definitely recommend this class!

This class was awesome! All the materials you could ever want were provided so you can make two terrariums exactly how you wanted (she even had gift boxes to take them home in). The atmosphere was very warm & inviting and Katie was extremely knowledgeable about what worked and what didn't work. Will definitely take more classes with Katie in the future!

What a cute class!! I had such a good time with Katie! She was so sweet and patient with a not so crafty gal like myself. We really got to get creative with SO many different options for cute little things to add to our terrariums. I'm pretty proud that mine turned out as cute as it did! I would definitely recommend this for a fun evening! I'm looking forward to taking more of her classes!!
