Event Overview
The motorcycle season in Chicago is pretty short compared with many cities down south. As a result, our bikes sit longer and need a little extra care to keep them in good running order. In this class, you will learn how to inspect your bike to make sure your ride is smooth and reliable as well as how to prepare it to sit over the winter season.
Students will learn about safety items on the bike including the tires, brakes, and suspension, how to check fluids, and chain adjustment and lubrication. Students will also learn how to perform a full pre-trip inspection including warning signs to look for to ensure a safe trip. Finally, students will also learn the steps to preparing your bike to sit through the winter nights.
The demonstration will be on a 2015 Triumph America. If you have specific questions about your bike bring it along and Mike can look over it with you after class.
Note: Gearhead Workspace is now offering motorcycle storage!

This was a great starter class to familiarize myself with my morotorcycle and understanding the basics of being safe before every ride!
