It’s easy to make your own all-natural ricotta cheese in less than an hour using basic kitchen equipment and milk from your local store. The pure, flavorful, and tender fresh-made cheese will put its store-bought counterparts to shame.
You can use the ricotta in dips and toppings for crostini or incorporate it into your favorite recipes, from lasagna and pastas to pizzas and salads.
During this hands-on class, we will make a fresh batch of ricotta cheese, Gnudi (ricotta dumplings) with pomodoro sauce plus Lemon Ricotta Cookies!! We'll pack up a batch of ricotta for you to take home and impress your family and friends with your cheese making skills.

DeDee's food and cooking interests led her to earning a degree in Restaurant/Hotel Management from Purdue University. She developed her talents in numerous kitchens and then in the hospitality industry; working from line chef to Food and Wine Purchasing Manager. DeDee trained under a Certified Master Chef who helped define her organic food awareness.
DeDee desires to carry on the message of healthy living through nature’s abundant harvest. Food is meant to be natural - not processed, from the earth - not from a warehouse. She looks forward to sharing with you her passion for natural food cooking. Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen or an expert cook, she hopes to share time with you together in the kitchen just for the fun of it.
