Here’s just a few compelling of reasons to go meatless even if it’s only one day a week. First, it’s better for your health. Going meatless once a week could reduce your risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity.

Gain hands on experience during this Mediterranean themed vegetarian cooking class. Based on centuries-old culinary traditions of the countries all along the Mediterranean Sea, the Mediterranean diet provides a solid nutritional foundation for vegetarians. Because the Mediterranean diet emphasizes plant-based protein sources, such as whole grains, legumes and nuts, the diet naturally lends itself to a vegetarian eating plan. You can reap the benefits of eating your vegies whether you’re going meatless one day, every day or just incorporating more into your daily menu.

    I have started cooking and eating healthier meals and this class was the perfect way to boost my confidence in using more veggies! The chickpea burgers and stuffed peppers were fabulous! It was very beneficial to prepare and taste these dishes first, I'm not sure I would have made them at home on my own. Thanks DeDee for another wonderful experience!
